Yarrow actually tolerates being mown, and can be used as a lawn substitute. Yellow Yarrow is a great addition to patios, gardens, or for use in landscaping in general. During bloom, Achillea clypeolata develops clustered, vibrant yellow flowers that attract beneficial pollinators like hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Yellow Yarrow is a perennial, and will regrow year after year. These plant seeds are incredibly easy to grow, and germinate easily! USDA Zones 3 - 9 Germinating Yellow Yarrow: Sow seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Seeds need light to germinate. Kept at 70°F., germination is in 14-30 days. Transplant seedlings into the garden 12-18” apart after all danger of frost.
