LEMON MINT (Monarda citriodora) Annual Purple, Lavender, White 1 to 3 ft tall Sun or part shade Produces lovely bloom spikes at top of plant from spring to summer. Easy to grow in about any soil, and is drought tolerant. Flowers are great in cut arrangements, or can be dried as well. Crushed leaves have a sweet citrus aroma, attracts hummers, butterflies, and moths. It is a member of the mint family, also called purple horsemint.
