Calendula Strawberry Blonde Seeds , Pot Marigold, Cut Flowers, 100 ct.. Seed descriptions This stunning Strawberry Blonde Calendula was organically grown with love in the heart of the midwest, in zone 5b. It includes a beautiful rose-apricot to soft yellow transition to a dark center. The underside of these gems are a soft red. These flowers make the perfect cut flowers, dried flowers for tea and herbalism endeavors and have a high yield with frequent cutting. Flowers grow anywhere from 12-36 inches. Seed to flower in about 8 weeks. Start indoors for transplanting or sow direct. Each photo taken is a flower grown in the last season. Seeds were collected directly from these samples. These seeds were hand harvested, so there is a small amount of plant matter in each seed packet. A small permaculture project, the Rock Island Backyard Food Forest aims to provide food and seed security by building the small community it encompasses with the product it produces. All purchases of seeds directly fund this labor of love. ___
